I am the fifth of five girls. When my dad was out of his mind driving and we were causing a ruckus in the "way-back" of the station wagon he would say, in exasperation, "I don't want to hear another peep!" It would be stone cold silent for about a minute until I would utter, ever-so-softly, "Peep". Since I was a kid I wanted to get my two cents in. I haven't changed.
