Written by Little Bird Marketing | January 18, 2019

“The world of reality has its limits; the world of imagination is boundless.”
– Jean-Jacques Rousseau

Perhaps a distant cousin twice removed to death and taxes, the inevitable tide of change brought on by technology is one of life’s lesser known guarantees. If you can turn it up to 11, you can bet your This is Spinal Tap VHS cassette that someone down the line is going to dream up a way to crank that dial to 12 and beyond. However, this begs the question: should we?

In a recent episode of the Little Bird Marketing podcast, Priscilla McKinney and Charlie Rosenbury discuss the present and future of virtual (V) and augmented (A) realities, the nuances between them, and how simulated experiences can creatively solve a wide array of real-world problems that we only once imagined possible.

Charlie is the founder and president of Self Interactive, a Springfield, MO based software development company specializing in virtual (V) and augmented (A) reality experiences. Self Interactive helps clients build and integrate interactive software into their business with a range of services spanning from responsive websites to custom applications to virtual experiences.

In addition to being the president of Self Interactive, Charlie is also a co-founder of Springfield Creatives
