Actually, creating quality content is essential for your business to be seen as a thought leader in your industry. In a recent episode of the Ponderings from the Perch podcast, Priscilla McKinney and Content Marketing Specialist, Ashley Le Blanc, explore the benefits of blogging and why you need to start making time for content creation.
"Busy professionals are asking either, you know, 'Priscilla, isn't blogging a thing of the past? Isn't that just a bygone era?' And they're kind of putting that out there more as a question to see if I'll confirm it for them [...] Or, the other people kind of push me into a little corner and very quietly whisper to me, 'I know I should be blogging and I'm not.' And so basically it's a confessional booth."
According to our friends at HubSpot, companies that published 16+ blog posts per month got almost 3.5 times more traffic than companies that published zero to four monthly posts. So, yes, it is worthwhile to make time for blogging!
Here’s a tip - set a timer! Before you start focusing on how to make every blog even more awesome, dedicate time each week to creating content for your next blog.
