    Live Authetically

There’s a saying across the wall of my living room. “Live authentically.” It’s my rally cry. Oscar Wilde said it best, “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” Being yourself is being true to your personal brand, but what about your company brand? Great branding work distills and then communicates the measurable differences that set you apart from your competitors.

So, here are a few questions for you to ponder.

    • What makes your brand unique?
    • What is at the essence of what your company does differently?
    • Why do loyal customers connect with you and keep coming back for more?

Because, here’s the secret: great branding is at its core nothing but authentic living.

Yesterday was my birthday. I’m a St. Patrick’s Day birthday. It’s a great birthday. I wear a green wig and invite others into my own brand of weird for the day. It’s a great excuse for me to press you, “How can you be your authentic self today?”

My business challenge for you is, how can your brand benefit from truly owning your company’s authentic story? What could you do today to strut your best stuff? How can you be clear about your brand’s promise?
