    Don't Get Frustrated by Hashtags

    When I talk about hashtags, the face I usually get from people is ”UGH!”  And that’s typically because somebody knows somebody who has overdone the whole hashtag madness.  #Wouldyoupleasestopusinghastags 

    The reality is, it is an effective tool on social media, and it’s super important way for your content to be discovered. So, here are two very practical tips for you when you CREATE your hashtags: 

    1. Do your own research - See what other people are seeing when you are using the same hashtags.  In my case, I look at marketing.   Also #LBMM, that’s how you can find all of my Little Bird Marketing Minutes. So they can be very useful, but make sure that you use them without tiring out your audience.
    2. Make it relevant - Hashtags are delivering quality search engine optimization, so they are very helpful when people are searching online.
