    Facebook Lookalike Audiences

We can all picture a friend we could call our ‘BEST’ friend. We know their face, their favorite food, the music they like – they’re great! You know, what if there was a way to create THOUSANDS of nearly-perfect clones so you can have THOUSANDS of best friends?

Okay, maybe that’s not a good idea. But you know what is a good idea? THOUSANDS of potential customers!

That’s the premise of Facebook’s Lookalike Audiences. You upload an email list consisting of your best customers, and Facebook uses that to show your ads to people who are almost exactly like them!

Here’s why you should use Facebook’s Lookalike Audiences when creating your digital ads:

    1. Facebook does the dirty work.

Facebook will automatically sift through your uploaded list and find commonalities from each, and then compile a NEW list to target. From here you can refine and target further, but it’s a lot less hassle than having to start from scratch.
    2. It’s fast. Really fast.

For most lists, Facebook can create a Lookalike Audience of hundreds of thousands of individuals in less than a half hour – leaving you and your BFF more time to work on your matching charm bracelets.
    3. It’s highly effective.

As of right now, Lookalike Audiences are near the top of Facebook's targeting tools you can use to find your ideal customer. By targeting people who are nearly identical to your current customers, you spend less money putting your ads in front of people who aren’t interested.

Sound like a perfect addition to your social media strategy?  Here's how to find it! Facebook will walk you through the steps, and you'll be maximizing your custom social audience in no time!
