Teamwork Makes the Dream Work - Coming Together to Move Your Business Forward

As your business grows, the help of a talented marketing agency becomes more and more necessary. But how do you know if you’re choosing the right one? The fact is, finding the right agency to work with can be difficult. However, here at Little Bird Marketing, we know that it doesn’t have to be.

Many of our potential clients wonder what it’s like to work with us before they make the final decision to put their marketing in our hands. It’s also not uncommon that some of those clients already have some pre-existing marketing plans that may or may not be working for them. So, one of the questions that we get asked fairly often is, “How do we work together to get the most out of our collective efforts?”

In order for us to create the most effective marketing strategy, we must first assure that we are on the same page with what kind of marketing is currently in place and what the goals of your organization are. That's why we start every relationship with our Onboarding Questionnaire - a form that details everything that we (the marketing agency) need know in order to make sure our goals are aligned and that we are committed to the same vision.

Our best work (your most effective marketing)
is always achieved when we work together.

One of the cornerstones here in the nest is the principle of transparency. Once we know what it is that we are trying to accomplish, all of our work is documented and shared with you. We do this by using project management software. Specifically, we use a program called Trello that allows us to plan and share our work and have an open stream of communication between our team and your organization. There is nothing that our team will do for your company behind closed curtains. We are proud of the work we do and want you to see it every step along the way.

Speaking of our team, in order to offer you the best insight into our marketing minds, we the peeps decided to come together to offer you just a few words of wisdom - Our best tips on what it takes to get the most out of working with a marketing agency like Little Bird.

Brace Yourself for the First Drop

“A lot of things happen in the first few months for new clients at Little Bird. The process we go through to get your account up to speed can be exhilarating. It’s sort of like the first drop on a roller coaster. As long as you brace yourself for it, you will do great. You will also quickly realize that you’re safely strapped in, headed exactly where you wanted to go, and glad you're riding with a good friend.”

    - Ryan Boydston, Content Marketing Manager

    Communication is Key

“From the first brainstorming session to the fruition of a completed campaign, we have plenty of time to learn each other's communication style. It's so important that both our team and yours feel comfortable sharing their ideas and providing honest feedback. Here at Little Bird, we always have our eyes and ears open and we're ready to communicate as clearly as possible!”

    - Emma Hanson, Content Marketing Specialist

    Be Clear About Your Goals

“There's no doubt that Little Bird can amplify your marketing efforts and deliver the results. However, it's important to identify your goals and expectations of hiring a marketing agency. More so, the success of your marketing strategy is contingent on you communicating those goals to the team that's creating your content early and clearly. Knowing the direction of your business is just as important to us as it is to you!”

    - Ashley Le Blanc, Content Marketing Specialist

    Get Involved

“While our team at Little Bird is more than capable of taking the reins and driving your marketing efforts, it’s nice when clients are eager to get involved. We do a significant amount of research to fully understand every industry that our clients are in, however, we are experts of marketing, you are the expert of your industry. Having an insider to give us new and fresh ideas is invaluable.”

    - Colton Harrington, Content Marketing Specialist

Be Flexible and Quick to Adapt

“One of my favorite parts about Little Bird is that from week to week, you'll rely on your ability to adjust to the shifting sands of agency life. If you can develop your skills to the point where you're always ready for what the world throws at you, you'll be in a great place. As an agency, we’re used to dealing with changes on a daily basis but for new clients, it's a part of the job that can take time to understand.”

    - Kahlief Steele, Graphic Designer

Put Pressure on Systems Not People

“At Little Bird, we are constantly refining our systems so that the stress of our daily schedule is put on the way we do things and not the people doing them. We have many tools in place that make our lives easier. As a client we want you to feel the same way. We encourage all of our clients to relax and put the pressure on the systems in place. They were put there for a reason.”

    - Leighton Cordell, Graphic Designer

If you are considering teaming up with a marketing agency we hope that we are at the top of your list. If in fact we are, we hope this gave you some valuable insight into what it's like to work with us.
