Connecting Supply and Demand: The Power of Content in MRX

Written by Little Bird Marketing | April 10, 2019

Though MRX (market research) is sometimes thought of as one those mystical industries clouded behind a veil of mystery and intrigue, the reality is that market research is much less intimidating than it appears. In fact, behind its spell-binding moniker (seriously, MRX... coolest industry nickname ever) and mighty jargon is a simple purpose - to help people by better understanding them and their needs.

In a recent episode of the Little Bird Marketing podcast, Priscilla McKinney and Leonard "Lenny" Murphy discuss his entrepreneurial journey and the experiences that helped shape him into becoming one of the most influential leaders in the Market Research Industry. In addition, hear about advancements in new technologies, process innovation (Savio and Veriglif), and why content is important to the future of insights.

"It can be easy to forget the motivation that ultimately all we’re here to do is to help people. And we help people by connecting supply and demand, as new opportunities emerge. So we work hard to fight against that. To remind everybody, every day: This is what we’re here to do. We’re here to help folks.”

Leonard is the Executive Editor and Producer at Greenbook, and is considered one of the most prominent Market Research thought leaders and advisors in the world. Check out some of his insightful Greenbook blog articles here.

In addition, Leonard is the CEO of several successful companies including: Rockhopper Research, Brandscan 360, and Gen2 Advisors. Find him on LinkedIn or Twitter
