    The Trouble with Managing Millennials

    "Kids these days!" Adults have been screaming about generational differences for ages. The question at hand is, "How much of people's behaviors and motivations are a result of their generation and how much is just a function of other influences?" Popular business culture demands that management change their practices to accommodate specific generations. Priscilla's entrepreneurial experience has left her to believe she should do no such thing.

    The Economist's article "Myths about Millennials" vindicates Priscilla's stance that most of the millennial touchstones are a myth. Priscilla prefers to refer to millennials with her coined phrase "nouveau hillbillies" and argues that you shouldn't change your management style or company culture for ANY generation, but should instead focus on authenticity and purpose.
